So-called Mother Teresa !

The whole world knows about Mother Teresa. She was decorated with the Nobel Prize, received funds from abroad, was celebrated for her humanitarian works around the globe.. still is.
We all know, in the name of humanity, she was going on converting poor Indians. She wouldn't extend a dose of cough syrup till Gopal turned into George. But we are too shy talking about it. While she flew to the first world countries to receive treatment, she denied painkillers to sick patients at her "home", for pains were supposed to be 'Kisses from Jesus'. In one such occasion, a patient in excruciating pain, cried out, "Please ask Jesus to stop kissing me." And though her orphanages are being investigated for child trafficking, some are being shut down also, Mother Teresa remains to be - and shall continue to be - a revered figure in the history of mankind.
Now let's talk about the lesser known, Shivakumara Swami, who passed away yesterday. The 111-year-old Hindu monk had dedicated his entire life to the service of mankind - WITHOUT any motive of converting people. His Guru Kula is home to more than 10,000 children from ages 5 to 16 years at any given time - that, regardless of their castes, creeds, or religion. He had founded a total of 132 institutions for education that offer courses in traditional learning of Sanskrit as well as modern science and technology, and have added over 50,000 educated people - if not more - to the Indian workforce. Would serve free meals to pilgrims and visitors also. And this man was honored with the Padma Bhushan only in 2015.
To put this in perspective, MF Hussain was endowed with the Padma Shri in 1966, Padma Bhushan in 1973, and Padma Vibhushan in 1991, all for painting a bunch of naked or sexually explicit images of Hindu Gods and Goddess. Let that sink in.
